Find a Patient - Smart Search
1) You can find a patient from anywhere in Pearl. Go to the top left and click on the magnifying glass icon.
2) This is the 'Search for a Patient' page. By default it will use "Smart Search" meaning you can find patients by entering any of the following:
- ID Number
- Forename or Surname
- Date of birth
- Home or Mobile number
- Postcode
3) Once you start typing any of the patients information Pearl will start the search after you have entered 3 characters.
4) Finally double click onto the patient and it will take you to their Patient Details Page
Find a Patient - Additional Options
- You can search for patients that are active or inactive by toggling the "Active Only" tick box
- You can also search by Claim Reference Number or Invoice Number (Invoice Number can be found on a Treatment Plan printout). This can be set from the "Search For Patients By" Dropdown:
