FP17 - Continuation Not Possible

This error occurs when transmitting a Further Treatment within 2 months or Free Repair Replacement claim for which the board are not able to find an originating claim.
To be valid the preceding claim:
- MUST have a completion date within 2 months (for Further Treatment) or 12 months (for Free Repair Replacement) of the acceptance date of the new claim.
- MUST have the same patient details including spelling of Names, Date of Birth, Sex, and Address.
- MUST NOT be a continuation or further treatment claim itself.
If the patient's details have changed you should transmit this continuation with the OLD DETAILS in order for the form to be accepted. To do this, change the patient's details on the main record, edit the form and use the "Refresh Patient Info" button to re-import the details then re-sign and retransmit the form.
