Cancelling an Appointment
1) Go to the Diary, choose the appointment you want to cancel, then right click it.
2) The menu will appear, click "Cancel"
3) The Cancel Appointment box will appear. It will ask you for a reason why the appointment was cancelled, you can choose from:
- My Mistake (Please note: "My Mistake" will by excluding from reporting by default)
- Patient Cancelled
- Practice Cancelled
Extra information why the appointment was cancelled can be added in the text box.
4) Click the save icon to confirm the cancellation.
Cancelling an Appointment - Add To Wait List
A Cancelled appointment can be added onto a Wait List. By default it will be added to your "Default Cancellation Wait List".
You can change the wait list using the "Add to Wait List" drop down.
Cancelling an Appointment - From Patient Appointment Snapshot
1) Go to the Patient Appointment Snapshot at the top of Pearl.
2) Find the appointment you wish to cancel, right click.
3) Click "Cancel Appointment"
4) The Cancel Appointment box will appear. It will ask you for a reason why the appointment was cancelled, you can choose from:
- My Mistake (Please note: "My Mistake" will by excluding from reporting by default)
- Patient Cancelled
- Practice Cancelled

5) Click the save icon to confirm the cancellation.
