What is the Kiosk?

The Kiosk allows patients to perform self check-in and sign requested documents independently. Patients love a streamlined patient journey, and this can start with completing paperless forms all in one place from the Kiosk. With Kiosk implemented at your practice it allows patients to go straight to the tablet running Kiosk instead of going to the reception. There is no setting the tablet up each day, as long as the patient has an appointment booked in Pearl, the patient can take care of the rest themselves.

Your reception team will also appreciate the reduced front of house work load so they can focus on other tasks like booking future appointments or returning patient calls.

Kiosk can be added to your practice free of charge. Kiosk is included in your practice subscription to Pearl.

How does it work?

Before the patient attends their appointment

When you book that appointment in Pearl, click PearlPad button at the bottom left. Request the specific documents to be signed. Then click 'Send Patient(s) To PearlPad', you have now requested the patient complete the following documents.

Pearl will confirm you have requested the patient to complete documents.

Save the appointment

When the patient arrives at the practice

The patient will go to the tablet and this the first screen they will see

All messages are fully customisable. Also on this screen you can put your own practice logo.

The patient will then be asked for their date of birth, then some basic supporting details of the person who is using the Kiosk. Once they click 'Login' the Kiosk will automatically check the patient into the practice.

If the practice has asked the patient to fill out forms, this message will appear

The patient will then be navigated through forms that have been requested for them to complete.

Once the patient has completed all forms requested, Kiosk will ask them to take a seat.

You will need to buy a tablet that can run Pearl, we recommend the Microsoft Surface Go 3

The Kiosk has to be in some sort of case, that can be mounted to the floor, desk, or wall.
