Reminders

Automatic SMS Reminders

1) Whilst on the diary, click the Diary management button on the left and then Appointment Reminders.

2) Click the Automatic SMS Reminders button in the bottom right

3) Simply fill out the form, then Pearl will start sending your automated SMS reminders when you have specified

Sending bulk reminders for a date range

1) Whilst on the diary, click the Diary management button and then Appointment Reminders button on the left.

2) On the appointment reminder window select First Appointment (any Practitioner Type) or a specific Practitioner Type and the date range of the appointments for which you want to send reminders. By default all practitioners of the selected type will be include or you can send just for a specific practitioner. Buttons allow you to quickly set popular date ranges.

3) Pearl displays the methods by which a patient can be reminded:

• Icons in grey: they can be contacted by these means
• Icons in red: they don’t allow contact by this method
• Icons missing: method not available for this patient

4)To send the reminders click on the appropriate button for the method you would like to use. (make sure your Templates are set up before you send)

Sending reminders from the diary

1) Whilst on the diary, right click on the patient you would like to remind

2) Click the appropriate method you would like to use.

Mark patients as reminded by phone

1) Whilst on the diary, right click on the patient you would like to remind

2) Click Reminded By Telephone

3) The patient will then have a black phone icon next to their name symbolising they have been reminded by phone

Reminding patients via the Patient Appointment Snapshot

1) Right click on the appointment in the patient appointment snapshot

2) Click the appropriate method you would like to use.

3) As seen above you can mark patient as reminded by telephone, (right click on the appointment on the patient appointment snapshot) the black phone symbol will appear on the patients appointment
