FP17 - Inappropriate Item

This error occurs when one or more items indicated in the Clinical Data Set you have entered is not applicable to the band claimed. Check that you have correctly assigned all treatment the correct band as per the NHS Help Website, or call the NHS Dental Services Helpdesk on 0300 330 1348 (Monday - Friday, 8am-6pm).

Common Error Codes:

130	Treatment item claimed for a higher band than that entered on the claim Temporarily suspended and replaced with a comment
131	Treatment entered on a claim that is not applicable to a Welsh Free Exam exemption
